Reviews:
I have read many great reviews about Tua Pasta in Bartow, so I have had them on my list to try - well I was not disappointed - it was fantastic. They make their own pasta every morning fresh. The pasta is absolutely amazing - super tender and great flavor. Their pasta is definitely the best I have had since my last visit to Italy.
We started with the fry’s ravioli with cheese filling, beautiful marinara sauce, perfectly fried and tender pasta. My wife had the Pappardelle Bolognese which she really enjoyed, again the pasta was the star. I had the Gambari alla Scampi over perfect linguine with butter, lemon, and garlic sauce - I really am in love with this pasta and the sauce was outstanding - lemony with garlic and butter base. We finished with the Limoncello cake - light, sweet and full of flavor.
Malena our server was excellent.
There is no question we will be back - I can't wait. I highly recommend everyone make the trip to Bartow and enjoy this amazing fresh pasta.
Tonight, we dined for the first time at Tua Pasta in Bartow. There were 8 of us so I called in a reservation for 4:30. It was bright inside with a quaint, cozy feel. Our server, Luna, was exceptional and very attentive! She was happy to help with our questions.
We had shared appetizers of arancini, mozzarella sticks and the eggplant melanzana. All were quite tasty, and the marinara dipping sauce was spot on perfection too. We had a couple of people that ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, a chicken Parmesan, shrimp scampi, lasagna, a shrimp ravioli special in olive oil with capers and sun-dried tomatoes, and I had the pappardelle bolognese (which was scrumptious) with a side of the meatballs, to share with others. It was very fresh and flavorful that I swore I was at my Italian Aunt’s house for dinner.
They have many options for desserts but the affogato blew my mind as it was absolutely divine! It definitely could be a shared dessert since it was 3 scoops of ice cream, drizzled in salted caramel and the espresso poured over top at the table. A couple of my friends ordered the limoncello and it was lighter than air and so refreshing. Please add this to your list, it’s soooooo worth a trip. All of us intend to become regulars after our dinner tonight!
Tua Pasta- Bartow. I will start by saying I am not a fan of Italian food, this was my husband’s choice for his birthday, so I cannot really give an honest review based on previous experiences. Service was great, food was good(again not an Italian fan here). I do not normally care for eggplant anywhere we go BUT their eggplant fries were my favorite. The calamari were by far some of the best I have had. We had another couple with us that are Italian foodies and the only complaint I heard was not enough garlic and salt
. So, give them a try if you love Italian food.
Best Regards,
