Hello Fellow Lobster Lovers!
June 15th is National Lobster Day – in celebration of this day we are planning an outing to Skipper’s Down East Gallery just off HWY 27 across from Posner Park.
You will have the option of ordering Whole Lobster (about 1lb) or Lobster Tail or a traditional Lobster Roll. All dinners come with side.
We will have to give Skipper’s our orders by June 54th because he will be flying in the Lobsters from his supplier in Maine.
We will have to limit our group count to 20 as Skipper’s is not that big.

Went to Skippers Down East Galley in Davenport for lunch. The food was AMAZING!!! The seafood chowder was so flavorful and full of fresh seafood. I got the Maine lobster roll, and my friend got the Connecticut lobster roll, and both were delicious! The meals come with fries and an additional side. Try the baked beans, they have a great kick to them!
Skippers in Davenport is a nice new addition to the restaurant scene. Small menu packed with down east favorites. I ordered the Seafood Chowder which is a huge bowl of wonderful seafood - lobster, crabs, and lots more with a great cream base - full of flavor - you could easily make this your entree. I also had the Connecticut Lobster Roll packed with tons of lobster meat on a perfectly buttered and toasted split bun - came with fries which I loved because they came out piping hot and potato salad which was really good.
Nothing fancy but reflects a great down east vibe.
Our server Cassandra B was great, attentive, and professional with a great friendly smile.
If you have a taste for a good Lobster roll, give them a try.

If you register for this event there are no accepted cancellations after 48 hours prior to the event. If you have to cancel there is a $5.00 fee charged per person for any cancellations or no shows. This fee goes to the restaurant to compensate for their trouble. In addition if you do not pay the fee you will no longer be welcome at future events.
