About this event
Forest Lake Golf Club. Located in Apopka. The course is located on 229 Acres of Central Florida’s Ridge area which provides superb sandy soils for great drainage and playability, wide varieties of trees, and pristine natural ponds. This is one of the few Florida golf venues that does not have any homes associated with the course, providing an unspoiled setting with scenic beauty. Forest Lake has five sets of tees to afford every golfer a fun round. The scenic course offers rolling fairways and strategically placed bunkers and is known for its memorable par 3's and large undulating greens. The course was designed by Lloyd Clifton who has designed many courses in Florida, including, Debary CC which we played on last year’s road trip Country Club of Mt. Dora, Hunters Creek, and a Fairwayers favorite, the Cypress course at Solavita. Green fee for this round is $59 for Florida residents or $70 for non-residents.
